tattoos of memories

crescent moon

triangle

Behold.. my new tattoos.
The crescent moon is something I've always wanted, you all know I love the moon by now, don't ya?
And the triangle, well, I actually wanted a triangle just because I like this geometric shape a lot; but also I've always wanted something that represented the union between my 2 sisters and me, so then I thought, this could be it.
The triangle shape was perfect to denote the union between us 3: the 3 angles are jointed by 3 lines of the same size. And also, my passion of yoga is the union of mind, body and soul, so that's another trio that can be represented by the triangle.

When reading more about it, I found some pretty cool stuff about the triangle that is also, a plus:

Keywords associated with the triangle:

  • Gender
  • Creativity
  • Harmony
  • Proportion
  • Ascension
  • Manifestation
  • Illumination
  • Integration
  • Subjectivity
  • Culmination
This sort of versatility is what captures themes of magic, wonder and creativity in the triangle meaning.

When placed upside down or upright, it means different things; just like me. I tend to be bipolar most of the time.

flower power

“She wore flowers in her hair and carried magic secrets in her eyes. She spoke to no one. She spent hours on the riverbank. She smoked cigarettes and had midnight swims...”
― Arundhati Roy, The God of Small Things
